Signs of Eastern subterranean termites include mud tubes along walls, discarded wings near windows, live swarmers, hollow-sounding wood, peeling or bubbling paint, swollen doors, sagging floors, and visible damage to wood structures. Signs of drywood termite infestations include kick-out holes, frass (termite droppings) pushed out of kick-out holes, tunnels inside the wood, and live swarmers inside the structure.

Termites are constantly foraging, sometimes traveling over 100 yards in search of new food sources—even when plenty is available. Sentricon® bait systems take advantage of this behavior by intercepting worker termites with strategically placed stations around your home’s perimeter. The bait contains an ingredient that prevents termites from molting, a process they need to survive. Once they feed, they unknowingly spread the treatment throughout the colony until it's wiped out. As long as your Sentricon system remains in place, it helps protect your home from future infestations.

Termidor® is not considered an eco-friendly termite treatment in the traditional sense. It is a highly effective termiticide that contains fipronil, a chemical that disrupts the nervous system of termites. When applied correctly, it is designed to have low toxicity for humans and pets, but it can be harmful to aquatic life and beneficial insects like bees if misused.
